Pharmaceutical Medicine Fables

It is a widely known fact that each and every culture has its historical and cultural heritage represented in different fables. They are unique and very interesting and contain so much information about the past, even though the biggest part of it is not true. However, people prefer to believe in fables since their early childhood and they stop doing this only after its has been proved a number of times that the fable is not true.

Nowadays there are so many fables in our cultural heritage and all of them belong to different times. At the present time we also have some fables being developed such as the stories some pharmaceutical companies tell us in their advertisements saying that "the more pills you take, the better for your health", "our special pill can sure all your disease", "this drug can help you treat your TB in one day", and so much more. Besides, this fable industry has its own story tellers: different web sites, advertising companies, and corrupted institutions. However, some governmental agencies still work honestly and recently 21 falsified assays made by modern fable tellers were revealed. The thing is that in these times, fables should be told in some special language, for example scientific one, to be believed in.

Science has become a new source of fable for us. We have started to trust it as we have trusted fables and different fairy tales when we were young. In contrast with the past, we don't need any superficial heroes any more, because we have drugs to believe in. Science keep in developing different things and making up new stories and we follow it without saying a word and think that this way is the best way.

Science has told us once that being a successful man is impossible without having enough sexual drive and the mankind has believed it. Now we have Viagra to deal with this problem. Later on, the science have told us that being in the state of stress is no good for human and we believed it. Now some people simply cannot live without Prozac. Then, science have told us so many things that we have lost the ability to sleep well. But Ambien helped us.

Whether it is good or not, but now we have a whole arsenal of different drugs to keep us going. Whether those fables were true or not that we cannot actually live without those drugs, we can only know if we quit taking them. But how is it possible if the story tellers keep on telling new fables?

And they do. Health care providers and such huge corporations as pharmaceutical companies like to keep the power in their hands. They do not want to let it go. They create one new medicine after another, advertise it aggressively, stick a new fable to it and make people believe that this pill is everything they need to cure their illnesses.

But they are so corrupted. They have already created and certified so many different pills and medicines that had a number of side effects and later on were banned. Maybe, we should simply stop believing in these fables so blindly. Medicine has always been something you cannot trust completely, because there are so many things even good doctors still do not know.
