Natural treatment & removal of warts
So, you want to know how to get rid of warts? Read on and I will show you many natural ways to do it without reserving to conventional treatments.
The medical term for that little thing growing on your hands, feet, face, genitals and other parts is Verruca Vulgaris (Imagine that?). Human Papillomavirus (HPV) causes warts and, if you want to count, there are over 100 types of HPV types of viruses. Depending on the type, you will have the mole appear on your genital, anal (rectal), oral (viral) areas.
Warts are extremely contagious and can be easily passed from person to person if they touch them, or if on genitals, through vaginal, anal, or oral intercourse.
Some warts go away after a month or two, some become a nuisance and may even cause pain if touched. If you go to a doctor, there are many conventional treatments available that mainly deal with “outside” skin types. Some doctors recommend using salicylic acid directly on a wart every day for many weeks and it may take more then a month before you slowly file it away. Many doctors use a chemical called cantharidin that will cause a blister and some pain later on. It will basically “melt” the wart away and one treatment is usually enough. Another conventional therapy is cryotherapy - the doctor will use liquid nitrogen to “freeze” the wart. It usually takes 3-4 visits with 2 week brakes in between to see if this method is effective.
If you have genital or anal warts, doctor will probably use liquid nitrogen, chemical treatments (with such chemicals as trichloroacetic acid - Tri-Chlor, podophyllin - Podocon-25, or podofilox - Condylox) , laser surgery, LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical excision procedure) or injecting you with a chemical Interferon to help the immune system naturally kill the virus.
But enough about conventional medicine! There are very effective natural treatments for warts available that your medical practitioner will probably dismiss as fallacy.
The first and foremost thing we should address is the condition of your immune system. If you are like an average person, your immune system is weakened by junk food, not enough sleep, artificial sweeteners, etc. In addition to changing your lifestyle to promote healthy living (more fruits and vegetables in your diet, at least 7 hours of sleep, moderate exercise, etc), you should take herbal supplements that are known to improve your immune system. Most people know that herbs like echinacea, goldenseal, licorice and elderberry have immune enhancing qualities. But there is even a better supplement that I highly recommend. It’s called Immune Builder (from MushroomScience) and it’s made out of 6 ingredients: Agaricus blazei fruit body extract, Coriolus versicolor extract, Cordyceps Cs-4 mycelium extract, Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) fruit body extract, extract derived form Maitake Mushroom (Grifola frondosa). All are hot water extracts and they went through numerous medical studies and clinical trials in Japan to prove their effectiveness. Now they are widely used in Japan by cancer patients to increase and support their immune system depleted by conventional treatments.
Here are some of unconventional treatments. If one doesn’t work for you, try the other- all of them helped people in one way or the other.
Parasite zapper: Originally introduced by Dr. Hulda Clark, it earned an “underground” cult following for its effectiveness in killing parasites, viruses, bacteria, etc. by emitting electrical current with different frequencies throughout your body (so if you have a pacemaker or any other devices regulating your health or body functions, or you are pregnant, it would be a very BAD idea to use this method). There are many models available but I like the model called MicroStimula from TechnicalAp.com. What you do is you attach electrical contacts to your wrists or close to the effected area with warts and let it run for 10-20 minutes. Because of the small electrical current traveling deep inside the body, it would be very effective as an anal or genital wart remover. Usually it would take less then a week (once a day) to see the effectiveness of this treatment but if you need more then a week, take a “week on, week off” approach. Use it for a week and take a brake for the next week.
9V Battery: If you don’t want to spend money on a zapper, do what some people did. Get a 9 volt battery and attach 2 isolated wires to the contacts (1 for each contact). Make sure they have protective shielding so when you take the wires with your fingers, the electrical charge won’t travel through fingers into your body. Touch the mole with two open ends of the wires at the same time so the electrical current goes right through the wart. It doesn’t take very long to kill HPV using this method and it will be a matter of days before the wart dies and falls off.
Apple Cider Vinegar or any other type of vinegar: A LOT of people have a huge success using apple cider vinegar to remove all types of warts. Take a cotton ball or a q-tip and soak it with apple cider vinegar. Press the soaked cotton to the mole and tape it with a band aid or duct tape. Do it every night before you go to sleep and the problem should be gone in no time. The truth of the matter is, you can apply anything acidic against the wart and it will do the trick.
Lemon or lime juice: Apply the juice of these fruits on the wart. Just like with apple cider vinegar, you can tape a soaked cotton ball to the mole with the duct tape. You can also drink lemon or lime juice to help with healing, as many people found out even drinking them along sometimes is a good wart remover.
Duct Tape or any other waterproof tape: The idea of this wart removing remedy is to cut off any oxygen from the mole and it will soon die. Tape the wart very tight and replace the duct tape every couple of days. Some people use a super glue or a clear nail polish and then cover the mole with the tape to insure no air is getting to the wart. Super glue or a nail polish even works fine without the tape. This remedy doesn’t work as fast and it could take from a few weeks to a month to see the results.
Update: A friend saw this post and recommended that I should include here this e-book called No More Moles, Warts, or Skin Tags. I haven’t looked through it but she said she removed 2 moles and a wart that she had since she was 20 (she is 33 now). I don’t think you really need it, but she insisted everyone with this type of skin problems should have it as a reference. If you buy it, let me know if it’s good and if enough people recommend the e-book, I will fully support it.
