At least once in everyone’s lifetime they will get a food poisoning and, if you ever had one, you will agree with me it can be a very unpleasant experience. How do you deal with this naturally and start treating it in a timely manner? Believe it or not- the sooner you take measures to diminish or counter the effects of the poison, the less time you will spend sick and bedridden.
One of my friends recommends, if you ate something and it’s sitting your stomach and you feel nauseous and a little weak, don’t wait for the poisons to be absorbed into the body- just go to the bathroom, stick two fingers down your throat and make yourself vomit out all the bad food or whatever is left of it. Drink more water and repeat until you no more solid food coming out. Believe me, the suffering you go through doing it is nothing comparing with fever and pain from the food poisoning if you don’t.
After you cleaned your stomach, take some charcoal tablets with 1-2 tbs of undiluted Apple Cider Vinegar. Charcoal tablets will absorb the poison up to a half of it’s weight, while apple cider vinegar will remove the nauseous feeling in the body and kills any viruses you may have in your stomach. If you have pasteurized Apple Cider vinegar, use 1-2 table spoons. If you have a raw organic type like Bragg’s, I would recommend using 3 tablespoons as it’s not as acidic as the pasteurized kind from your local grocery store. When you drink it, it will taste like a really strong acid but bare with it – you want to feel better fast, don’t ya? The vinegar will work very fast and within 30 minutes in most cases. Rinse your teeth with backing soda RIGHT AFTER you drink the apple cider vinegar, as it may destroy the enamel on your teeth if not neutralized.
If you don’t have charcoal in the house, keep toasting a piece of bread until it’s black. Eat the black burned parts and discard the rest.
Next, make a tea out of equal parts of anise and caraway and drink 3-4 cups a day.
If you do all these steps, you will greatly diminish the effects of the poison. Of course, if you are really feeling bad or allergic to the food like a condition called anaphylaxis, it’s a totally different matter and you should call 911 immediately. Alcohol poisoning could be life-threatening so please don’t take it lightly. Keep charcoal, apple cider vinegar, anise and caraway in your house, so when you need it, you can use it without any delays.
