Anti wrikle natural remediesEveryone wants to have beautiful skin, but as we age, our largest organ (yes, skin is an organ) in our body looses the appearance of vigor and youth, and all we have left is a cabinet full of skin care products that didn’t deliver on their promise. I would like to tell you there is a magic cream that will erase every wrinkle off your face but I would be lying. All I can tell you there are indeed some natural herbal remedies that will improve your skin condition noticeably, and you don’t even have to spend a lot of money doing it.

If you look at most natural treatments that deal with your wrinkles, you will notice they fall in either one of two groups: antioxidants and emollients. Antioxidants target oxygen molecules that known to damage and eventually destroy healthy cells in your body. Emollients act as a moisturizer/softener for your skin. So, all the recommended treatments will belong to either (or both) groups.

To start with, drop in your blender a cucumber, some rosemary and purslane. Cucumber is excellent for your skin and wrinkles, as well as sunburns. You probably saw a picture of a lady having two cucumber slices over her eyes. That’s because it is a nature’s perfect moisturizer that rivals to many expensive creams you buy at a department store. Rosemary is a good antioxidant, and according to studies in Japan, rosemary is proven to both as a wrinkle prevention and also as a treatment for it. Purslane is also one of the best antioxidant for your skin. Blend all 3 above ingredients together and apply as a face mask for about 20 minutes. Done!

You can also use blended grapes as a mask, because they contain AHAs- the stuff that will work on peeling all the dead skin off your face. It works as good as Alpha-Hydroxy acid from a drugstore. Buy some red grapes with seeds and blend them in a good blender (Total blender or Vita-Mix - those will blend the seeds). Apply as a face mask for 20-25 minutes.

When it comes to emollients, a few good ol’ oils come to mind. You can try with same success Coconut, Almond, Avocado, Castor or Olive oils. Each one has its own history of use dating hundreds and even thousands of years ago, so you may try some on your skin and see if you notice any difference (make sure you are not allergic to it first). Cocoa butter also falls under the same category. The lesser known cowslip oil would also be an excellent choice, if you can find some.

Now, before you start looking for external cures for wrinkles, maybe you should look first what water you use to wash your face with or shower every day. I would recommend to buy a shower water filter- I don’t have to teach you about how much water is absorbed through the skin during your 15 minute shower. No, it’s MUCH more then you think. And I would say all the chemicals in that water are not doing your skin nor your body any good.

Another good method to “erase” wrinkles is by using light. There is a device called “Quasar” from Advanced Therapeutics that uses light to assist the body to heal and rejuvenate your skin from within. A few of my friends tried it with excellent results.

And finally, there are two internal supplements that will help you supporting your skin, nails, joints, bones, etc. functions. One is called Silicium G5 (Silica G5) and another BioSil. Both are silica supplements and both are “can’t-do-without” supplements if you want to be on top of your prevention care for your skin.
